ADon one paper dust mask
BDon one pair machinist's glovesWear: mask + gloves for all remaining steps
CUsing pneumatic drill + ¾" auger bit, bore hole through width of pelvis near top waistband arches
DInsert ¼" rebar fully through hole until centered left-to-right; excess extends both sides
EHacksaw excess rebar flush on both sides (approx.)
FLiberally fill hole and both rebar ends with dark red 2-part epoxy
GWipe excess epoxy with shop towel; drop towel on floor
HSet subject and pelvis subassembly aside; allow epoxy to cure hard 24–48 hours
JUsing 4D wrought iron nails + ball peen hammer, attach 1 ornate hinge to rear face of each lower arc (approx. hip-socket location); hinge swings freely
KUsing fabric shears, cut two vinyl patches — approx. shape + slightly larger than each side of the drilled hole
MApply liberal toxic glue to one side of each patch; press firmly to implied skin surface area of pelvis⚠ Toxic · Fumes · Ventilate
NWipe excess glue with shop towel; drop towel on floor
PPre-cure glue with heat gun 10–15 min; then allow to fully dry 8–12 hours⚠ Substrate may be delicate — may darken or blister if heated too long
